MEYCAUAYAN City, Bulacan – Police arrested four cellphone snatchers in Bgy. Banga, here Monday afternoon.

A report to Senior Supt. Fernando Mendez, Bulacan police director, identified the suspects as Joel Caparas, 19, Manuelito Gotuman, 21, Ernesto Davis, 19, and Gary Fred Gunda Jr., 19, all jobless, of Bgy. Banga, this city.

Supt. Eric Noble, city police chief, said the suspects were arrested by the virtue of warrants for robbery issued by Malolos City Judge Basilio R. Gabo Jr.

Mendez said the suspects were previously charged with  robbery (snatching) of a mobile phone in Bgy. Tugatog, Meycauayan City, last October 9, 2010.

The suspects were brought to city police station for documentation prior to turnover to the court of origin.
