TARLAC City — The Weekend Warriors of the 2nd Civil-Military Affairs Group-Northern Luzon conducted free circumcision for young boys in Barangay Sta. Maria over the weekend.
The activity was led by 2nd CMAG-NL commander Navy Captain Enrico Juan P. Talon, in cooperation with Barangay Chairman Roland Manaloto.
The operation was conducted in school rooms converted into temporary medical and surgical clinics.
Aside from free circumcision, the group also conducted free medical check-up for the elderly and children and distributed free medicines.
The activity is in line with the Implan Ugnayan of the Northern Luzon Command conceived by NOLCOM commander LGen. Gaudencio Pangilinan, in support to the Oplan Bayanihan of the AFP.
Aside from the medical-surgical services, the program will also help eight families of this barangay to undergo skills development training with the Technical skills Development Administration.
