In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Jennifer Aniston revealed that one of the first houses she rented in California was actually haunted. Aniston claims that during her time in the home, which was located in ritzy Laurel Canyon, electrical items would turn on by themselves, and things would fly off of shelves before her eyes.

“My roommate at the time, who talked to dead people ... did a little ceremony ... now every house I go to, I have a healer or a medium come through.”

-- Jennifer Aniston, In an interview with Bazaar

Aniston’s previous home is one of many haunted spots in the Laurel Canyon area. It’s said that the production studio known as “The Mansion,” (currently owned by Rick Rubin) has been haunted since 1918. As the story goes, the son of the owner at that time pushed his lover off the balcony. Also, the Harry Houdini Estate, located at 2400 Laurel Canyon Blvd, is said to be haunted by the ghost of the late magician himself.
